I saw in our weekly bulletin that there was a group called “ word weavers” meeting. It sounded intriguing ,but I wasn’t sure what “word weavers” meant. It’s a writing group.I love the name..
I don’t consider what I do as writing. What is in my head, falls out. I barely spell. I have been known to change to another word if I can’t figure out how to spell a word correctly. I know
grammar, but I love commas better. I use them profusely . They are like my taking a breath. I just used spell check. I wanted to put an “e” on the end of breath. To me ,writing is what Bob did. You work on a story,rewrite and rewrite until it is
perfect. I am more spontaneous. The “word weavers” are a talented group of writers who throw out a concept and you use that concept to come up with something that you wrote. Prose,poetry,fiction, nonfiction... your choice. I have to think about
what I want to write. That will take discipline on my part. I am temporarily stumped. Just temporarily.
