I am wondering if I should say anything about the “gifts” I get from commercial gift giving companies. One gift package I got contains nothing that I would
ever eat and, more importantly, nothing that the person who spent the money would eat. I don’t eat fake cheese, or , processed sausages that have a shelf life that is undetermined.Another gift box that I got came with a message that it was from Mom and
Dad. I didn’t know that you could do that after you died. Good to know.I would have loved to have had a personal word from who ever sent these “gifts”. I always feel as if I am on some corporations gift list, a pay back for business appreciated.
I would like to suggest that a contribution be made to any organization that appeals to the person sending these unappreciated boxes that I make jokes about. That would be special for me and the gifted group. I am glad that I said something. I feel much better.
