The weather here in Venice is so perfect right now. Maybe a little humid, but not cold, snowing, ice, or a down pour. Perfect for us. I am trying to tire Teddy out , so today was Myaaka State Park day.
I did it. I managed to wear him out. He actually fell asleep in the car and now at home. While I was at the park, I saw a wild turkey,many wild pig traps, sans pigs,a deer and many, many turkey vultures. Teddy only saw the turkey vultures because they were
swooping over his head. I wonder if they have a natural predator.There were a lot of them. Also saw my favorite Spoonbill roseate, plus birds I don’t recognize. On the way home, we stopped at the
National cemetery to visit Bob’s grave. It has been awhile since I visited. Going to Port townsend threw my schedule off. I was a little emotional. Noodle died,Teddy new, tree in your memory planted,
kids happy, grandchildren attentive. A lot to catch up on.
