Actually, the temperature is just 14 degrees different from Venice on this date. Not terribly cold.Just brisk. In fact, it feels good. Thanksgiving Thursday has made the rest of the week confused. Especially when the restaurants
were closed Sunday and Monday. What’s a person to do. Eat sushi , is the answer. We have had Fresh turkey, left over turkey served with everything that we had on Thanksgiving day, except the stuffing.Then we had turkey soup and tonight it was turkey
pot pie, made from scratch. The left over cranberries went into the salad dressing. Everything was wonderful, but maybe we have exhausted turkey for a while.It was good , but it’s over. This afternoon
we did a fact finding trip to taste almost one of every chocolate candy in a real candy store. The candies were beautiful and between us we had chocolate cordials,marshmallow( home made) covered in dark chocolate,the lightest peanut butter I have ever tasted
, covered with semi sweet chocolate , chocolate sprinkled with salt and a stick of lemon jelly covered in chocolate and divinity fudge. I can report that there wasn’t a bad chocolate in the bunch.
