There is a 34 degree difference in the temperature from Venice to Port Townsend. My bedroom is 65 degrees. Good sleeping weather, although after our delayed Thanksgiving
dinner, I don’t need a reason to stay awake. We went to the historic down town today and it was very crowded .. with people and dogs. We did the tourist thing and went into one store and then out to the next store. I warned my kids not to let me go into
a yarn store, but they didn’t believe me and I did and I bought . I made up for it by not going into the kitchen store. I wore the family jacket,we share an old Land’s End black wool jacket, . I also had on a long sleeved shirt,a fleece pull over,
Bob’s old watch cap , sweat pants, and thermal gloves, socks and sneakers. Not particularly fashionable, but I was comfortable. When a lady is of a certain age, it’s all about comfort.. and staying warm.
