ON THE BACK BURNER

It can be the smallest of mishaps , but your whole day becomes somehow different. I always post my blog before I do anything else in the morning. Even before coffee. Today, I walked the Noodle first , then I posted the blog, made coffee. I would have done things differently if I knew how it was going to turn out. My niece is here from New Orleans , with her husband. We had planned to go to visit Bob's grave and then go off to Myaaka for some bird watching. I wanted to leave at 10 ish. We left closer to an hour later. Which would have been fine, but in this mix is the fact that I am sitting two dogs, in their house, who have their own agenda and schedule. We had planned to fit lunch in here after bird watching, too. Some where along the way, we managed the cemetery, the park and birding, dog sitting, but not the lunch. After about an hour at home, I get a call that a friend fell and is in the ER where her husband is a patient. That is not good. Quick to the hospital , standing by to help out and then going home to my company and more doggie feeding and outing. This is still the same day? Yes. Fix left overs for dinner and then back to doggieville for another outing. Please tell me it is night time so that this day can be over. And it all happened this way because I walked Noodle before I did my blog.
