I made fish taco's last night and the odor of fried fish is still lingering. I washed down every surface. I even put the stove grates in the oven after I washed them because I am afraid that they will revert back to their rusty state. Especially
since I worked so hard to restore them. I put out a bowl of vinegar. That didn't help. Then on Google I read that coffee gounds will help. But are the coffee grounds the fresh grounds or they the ones that I used this morning. Google didn't say. My coffee
is too expensive to waste, so I used the used ones. Tomorrow, I will buy some bleach and see if that works. Next time that I fry something, it won't be fish.And I will use the exhaust fan. I don't know why I didn't this time. I had all of the windows
opened and the screen door. Noodle will not cross the threshold so I can do that with the door. Today was a perfect fall day. Sun and a cool breeze off of the sound. That should have helped with the fish tacos. But it didn't. Next time we will go out for tacos.
