I will be leaving my Granny Pod in a few days , so I thought that I might just let my head drive where I go with this. I do not need more room than what I have now. 27 feet or about 270 sq. ft. , I think. I have a tub with a shower. Hot and cold
running water. Flush toilet. My neat Dixie stove. A too big bed. A couch that opens up to sleep a guest and a eating nook. One thing about trailers is that they know how to arrange storage so that I have more than I need. I don't have TV, but that was my choice.
I do have Netflix and Amazon Prime. And I have a great deck with a table and porch furniture. On one side of the Pod is woods, which I hope the city forgot that they are here. The other side looks out over my kids yard with growing fruit trees. Some
of what I see to the rear isn't as pretty. There is a work shop and my son often forgets to turn the lights off in it. It has become my night light. Then there is also a wood shed. It is a necessary shed, but it isn't that attractive. They need wood for the
winter for the house and the work shop, so there is a lot of stacked wood. I did plant two bushy trees in front to hide the wood, but now I have another plan. I didn't know that trees aren't that expensive to buy, so I will plant a tree along with my bushes.
Maybe an almond tree. Now for what I will change. I will plant more sedum. I think that the deer won't eat it. I would like very much to have the entire yard fenced. The deer eat everything, even where their noses fit into the opening on the wire fences that
we have every where around our plants that we still have. I would like to see the county pass an ordinance that they will give the deer birth control. And I want a stainless sink and a garbage disposal. Funny how I miss my garbage disposal. And I hope
to put down a bamboo floor and get rid of the small amount of carpet that is here. Then I plan on having a Shabbat Dinner Group once or twice a month. I'll use the internet to find those hidden Jews and work on that with my Grandson. That's it. I'm ready
to get back to home base.
