ON THE BACK BURNER

Today was great. The weather is just slightly changing. There is a hint of fall. If you don't pay attention, you miss it. We went to Bainbridge where there is a wonderful museum that shows local artists work. These are not amateurs. The artist show  and sell internationally. Even if I won the lottery, I probably couldn't find a wall large enough to hang some of the pieces. There was a particular exhibit of knit pics. Crystal glass melted and knitted. I don't know how the artist did it,but she will be here in a few weeks and I may go back and ask. My son had to bring his sousaphone in to Bainbridge for a repair. I am not sure how his sousaphone is different than a tuba, but it is. There are not a lot of people who can repair brass instruments in this area. The repair person  learned his  skill at a trade school. What a speciality. I think that that is pretty special.
