You don't know a community until you use their ER. I had a painful finger infection, probably from a scratch that became infected by my not always remembering to put on work gloves. After the finger looked like it might need more than a soaking,
I went to what they have, called an Express Clinic. 9 AM to 7 PM. it is right in the hospital. Emergencies use another entrance. This is non emergency , simple stuff. In three days, I took myself there , twice. Easy in and easy out. Took care of my finger
with charm and grace, painlessly lanced the wound, the sent out a culture, gave me some more meds , a bandaid and I was home in less than an hour. This is not a trauma hospital. Serious cases get air lifted to Seattle. But for what I needed , it was perfect.
Now I have a vet and an Express Clinic. I'm covered.
