I went to the Jefferson County Fair for one reason. My son and his "Unexpected Brass Band" was playing . I had found, at Good Will a "T" shirt that said" It's okey. I'm with the band". I saved it to wear to the Fair .Now I will put it away
until next year, when I come again to Port Townsend. I must be getting used to this weather. It rained most of the day and it didn't even bother me. When I first got here, I wore layers of clothing. Now, I think I have adapted . At least, I haven't grown webbed
feet . The Fair was so All American . 4H kids with their animals. Although seeing a lama as a farm animal was a little different. The Home Arts were special. Gorgeous quilts, knitted sweaters, socks, and all things done with a needle. There were beautiful
flowers, and fruits just picked . There was even a bee expert there to talk bees. How we got around to talking about Evanston, Illinois and Northwestern, I don't know, but the conversation was great. I decided that next year I will enter the County Fair.
I have knitted about 1 inch on a sock that I meant to spend time knitting here.Maybe I can finish it to enter by next August. I'll think about it.
