It rained today. All day. Perfect day to plant the two bushes that I bought. I had to use a pitch fork to break up the hard dirt. It is amazing that even after a day long rain, the ground was still as hard as the rocks I dug up. After I planted
the bush( only one at a time) , I had to put the deer cage back. There were two deer in the yard earlier. I tried saying" go home", but nothing happened. then I slammed the door hard, a couple of times. Nothing happened. I called my son,he said " rocks". I
couldn't . The little deer had run right to his Mom when I first ran out to shoo them away. I thought that was so sweet. I suspect the Mom had those Mom instincts and would protect her baby just like a human Mom. So I let them finish what they were eating.Saves
