ON THE BACK BURNER

I guess when it gets unseasonably hot in  Washington ,it gets really hot. From one day to the next, this temperature just spiked. And Noodle and I were both suffering. This" cabin" is like a tin oven. I was afraid to try the AC until my son came home. When he did, we found out that the AC wasn't working. By this time, I had hosed Noodle down and was keeping us outside which was cooler then my RV. There are so many Robins here. I don't know why that is.I have a book of Western State birds, but the only ones that I see are the humming birds and the Robins. I do hear a mouning dove and actually, he drives me nuts. He doesn't stop to take a breathe.I don't know when he sleeps.A deer came by a few minutes ago. I thought that Noodles scent would keep them away,  But I guess not.He or she better not eat my container garden. I'll sic the Noodle on them. It'll be a hot day in Washington when that would happen.
