ON THE BACK BURNER

I like physical work. Today ,I moved rocks from the wooded area around my "cabin" and arranged them like a fence so that Noodle can sniff where his boundaries are and sun himself. He and I could use a little snoozing in the sun. He was up and restless starting at 3 AM. Crying, not being able to find a place to settle down. About 9:30 AM, he must have passed another kidney stone, he fell into a deep sleep and now seems fine. While he was napping, I attacked the wall paper border and moved stones around. The wall paper will be a several days project. Even with Downey fabric softener, it takes a lot of wetting, scrapping and more pulling. My cabin doesn't smell of dog, but of fabric  softener. My son and I also went to the junk yard again. I found a perfect short picket fence for one end of the deck. It's even the right shade of blue that I wanted. My son also removed a few cabinet doors so that we can exchange the yucky glass center panels with something more attractive. While I had a Phillips screw driver in my hand, I took down a mirror that was on the outside of the bathroom door. I could see myself in it when I got out of bed and I didn't want to start every day looking like my Mother. Before she put on her make up.
