ON THE BACK BURNER

Did I mention that we went to the Farmer's Market? It was a typical , misty Washington morning. Almost everyone had on a Patagonia  rain jacket. My Land's End felt so old school. I had the thought that if I had a dollar for every Patagonia that I saw, I could have treated every one to lunch. What is ready to eat right now is turnips and radishes , plus salad greens. I bought some wonderful goat cheese and a cow's milk cheese, and a sourdough baguette.I decided to take another try with my oven. I bought strawberries and rhubarb and now I have a pie going in the oven. It does seem to be working. Hope so because I really  like a  strawberry rhubarb  mix.  If  I liked ice cream, that would go really nice with warm strawberry rhubarb .Too bad I drank all of my Jersey milk. That would have been enough. Dayanu.
