Everyone but me went sailing today. They had a blast. The wood boat was built in 1902 and probably has some great stories to tell. It would have been the boat that my son was gong to do the Race to Alaska in. I am glad he decided to stay
around here. He would be gone a whole month. We had a celebratory dinner tonight for my Granddaughter in laws's birthday. The wait person tried to get us to sit inside because she thought that we would be cold outside. We ended up sharing a table with two
sailer, as in sail boat people, around one of those tables that have a fire pit in the center. The whole experience was so much fun. The restaurant gives out blankets if you got cold. One of us did. We did a little self improvement on the travel
trailer today. The valences were not that atractive, so we are taking them down. So far we took down one and collected about 40 screws. I went to the grocery again. I really shouldn't do that since the fridge is rather small. I cooked oatmeal for breakfast
in my rice cooker. I got a cookbook for using the rice cooker for more than making rice. It was really good oatmeal. I will do it again tomorrow. I have had to leave the bathroom light on for noodle. Even though he is visually impaired, he got confused during
the night and bumped into everything that was in his way. The light seemed to reassure him. Now he is sound asleep and snoring. He's happy. Me too.
