ON THE BACK BURNER

I lost Noodle in the house. I couldn't find him . i searched under couches, behind doors. I even looked in the bath tub. Because he can't hear, my calling him didn't do anything to find him. I was getting a little crazed. I even opened the only door that we have to check that I some how left him out side over night. It was getting late and he hadn't gone out for his first walk of the day. I looked a second time, then a third time.  nothing. By this time, I assumed he was dead some place that I couldn't see. I looked in my walk in closet again, this time I moved some bags that I had gotten ready for Good Will and stuck in a corner, behind them , was a little face. It was Noodle, who couldn't figure out how to get out . He was overly warm from being surrounded by a couple of plastic bags and he was confused, but other wise, he was fine. I was oh so happy to find him. I forgave him for making me think he was dead.
