I just was introduced to what I think is a wonderful happening. Southern churches do it and I would love to do it at our Congregation. We do something similar, but I love the name. It is called Home Coming. The churches welcome back people
who may for one reason or another dropped out of the church. They are welcomed backed and celebrated with a huge pot luck. No questioned asked, just embraced by the Congregation. We do something similar to prospective members. We think of it as
Sarah and Abraham welcoming you into their tent. The tent being our Congregation. But a home coming sounds so embracing,so festive, so uplifting. I want to go to one. Who can I call about proposing this .
