Where else can you work really , to the point of exhaustion and still have a great time. You meet all of your friends, you talk up your Congregation to a person who is interested and you work until you think that this might be a good time
to stop. My congregation had its 25 th annual food festival . It was a beautiful day, as it always is. I was part of a two people garbage detailed. After a slow start, it was show time . The formula is peek into a garbage container, make an executive
decision to empty the garbage or wait until there is more in the container. If you empty, you have to pull the bag out of the cardboard box, tie it off , and replace the bag,and then schlep the garbage filled bag to a big garbage hopper around
back of the Temple. As the day got later, the bags filled up quicker. My partner and I just kept up the peek, decide, change, carry routine, until we both just had to stop. When I made it home, I showered and sank into NetFlex stupor and later
to watch the Rescue Dog Pet Show on my Channel 5, the Hallmark Channel. I want to enter Noodle in the best in snoring division. I think he would at least place . I'll have to make a note of this for next year. If it conflicts with our Food Festival,
I'll have a difficult decision to make. I think the Food Festival would be the winner and I have already asked for my spot again on the garbage team.
