I have always taken comfort in a beautiful sunny day. How could anything bad happen when the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Just sometimes bad, sad things just do happen when the sun is out. If the day is rainy and gloomy ,if something
bad happens, it just adds to the gloom. Today was that sunny day that ended when the life of a friend ended. She was bright, funny,spoke her mind,loved her pets, and suffered bravely. I never saw her defeated, although she had every right to feel that way.
She was a special lady. She was loyal,she could talk to anyone and make them feel comfortable and she was Crickets special friend. You fought a hard fight, Joan , and now you are at peace.
