I am dogie sitting two beautiful black labs. What I find so enjoyable is how the play with each other, and groom each other. I don't know if it is because they come from the same breeder and have the same blood line, but they are so loving to
each other. I've had two dogs at the same time, but from a shelter. They never had the relationship that is so obvious with these two. Also, these dogs are cream of the crop, my rescue dogs, although perfect for us, came with problems . One that we adopted
had never been outdoors. When we took him out for the first time and it was snowing,he froze in space. He had never been out in snow. I adopted a dog who I thought was a sheep dog. I left him at the shelter for neutering . Then I took him to be groomed. When
the groomer brought out this skinny, shaved, ugly dog and said it was the dog that I brought in, I couldn't believe it. Seems that is was the dog I had brought in. Charlie turned out to be a beautiful dog , but not a sheep dog. I know how we got out first
second dog, but I have no clue how that started a pattern of always having two dogs. Until Cricket. We had two dogs when Cricket came to us. When Cricket's companion dog( that's how we introduced the two) died, Cricket was one happy dude. She never showed sadness.
She was now queen of the house. As she should be.
