I am going about my road trip this summer, to Washington , very systematically. I went back and forth about driving versus flying and flying won. Until I changed my mind. I really like road trips. I have always wanted to drive across the country.
When you go to Europe, everything is near by. You can go to Spain, take a boat and be in Morocco before you know it. I will be taking no less than 7 days to travel from Florida to Washington state. I will be in Florida for a whole day. Until you drive it from
south to north, you don't realize that it is a very long state. That is day one. The rest of the trip is pretty straight forward,some states I go in and out of in a short time. Once I get to the western states, I expect to find it mostly open spaces.When I
get to the end of land, I take a ferry. From shore to shore applies here. From Venice to Port Townsend. Can't wait to start this adventure. Now to plan my road food.
