ON THE BACK BURNER

I went to the library today. I go about once a week. I started going that frequently because Bob read the books that I chose for him that quickly. He did read them, even though he couldn't verbalize what it was that he read. He did know if it was well written and he did know  if he wanted to continue reading the book. I never finish reading a book that I don't like after a few chapters. I think that Bob gave the author the benefit of the doubt and tried to keep reading . He never read fiction, only non fiction. I read fiction and cook books, never non fiction. While I was perusing the shelves at my branch library, I found this title, " So much life left over". I didn't take it out, but I wrote down the title so that I wouldn't forget. I love the thought. I am not sure if the book would make me happy or not, I was afraid to take it out. It sounded sad. Then I picked up a book that I hope is more positive, "Your second life begins when you realize you have only one". I'll let you know. After I read my cook books, it's the next one that goes on my night stand.
