Do you think that you can tell about a person by looking in their refrigerator? I was thinking about what is in mine. It is full of parts of a meal. There is a bin of cheeses. One bin has some spices that I like to keep fresh, so I put them
in the fridge. I'm not sure that prolongs their life, but they are in there for life. The doors of the fridge has mustard, catsup, ( I prefer to spell catsup with a "k " , but spell check changes it every time). maple syrup. Maybe these things don't have to
be there, but they are.
I have a shelf of eggs, a slot for butter. I keep a water bottle ,filled , on a shelf. There is a box of matza meal stuck in the back. I have no answer for this. One crisper has a bunch of lemons and limes
. The other side has carrots,an English cucumber and a few stalks of seen better days celery. And an avocado. Oh yes, my special coffee beans that I have sent from that exotic place,Chicago. A package of defrosting ground beef, another of mashed
potatoes and some defrosted spinach. I can see my life spiraling before me. I can combine some of what is in this fridge and make a meal. Or I can just open the door of the fridge and wonder what was I thinking when I opened the refrigerator door. It is not
for me to question why, I guess. I just read some place that asking why is a defensive act. Makes the other person feel threatened and guilty. Yup, You nailed me.
