I stayed up late to finish a book last night. This morning , I decided not to read any more by this author, at least for a while. The plots are always around the Nazi's take over of Poland or Germany, and they read too much of what is happening
right here in America. The parallels are frightening. He, the author, does meticulous research. The characters are believable. They are naive. They are shocked. How can that have happened. The true character of people rises to the surface. Some are brave,
some cave in, some are kind,some turn in their neighbor, some hide their neighbor. Everyone becomes prey. Children are taken from their parents, citizenship is stripped from the victims,certain people are not allowed to vote , newspapers are censored. Sounds
like it couldn't happen in America. Wake up.
