I'm a little worried about Noodle. He seems to be tripping more. I'm not sure what this means, but it is concerning. His nose is what works the best on him. I wish that either his vision or his hearing were more acute. I would like to be able
to tell him " no" when he gets demanding of me. It's hard to discipline a dog who can't hear or see you wagging a finger in their face. Sometimes ,I just put my finger on his nose and he stops his bad behavior. When he wants something really bad, he talks
to me. When he really really wants something, he has been known to give a bark. That's when the finger to the nose comes in handy .I think that he is more surprised than anything else when I do that. Sometimes I just pick him up and hug him when he does the
bark thing. How can you get annoyed with a dog who has so few ways to ask for something. What breaks my heart is to see him looking at the last place he thinks I am, like the dining room table. He is sure that I am still sitting there. I guess that his nose
isn't always working so well, or I smell pretty neutral.
