OMG.I am watching a program that is profiling Manny's Deli in Chicago. That is what I miss. I lived North and Manny's is South , but a drive on Lake Shore Drive gets you there before you can start drooling. There are special foods that you
need to go to special towns to get. If I were in Chicago right now, Manny's would be great. And I know where to get the best steak sandwich, one of my favorite things to order in. I know that there are fancy restaurants, but I like these neighborhood
places. If were in New Orleans, there are so many special things that I like , that I would have to stay several days. We tried eating our favorite foods at lunch and dinner, but we just couldn't eat that much food. That's why we would have to stay awhile.When
I go to N.Y.,one of the first things that I want is a hot dog from a street vender. They just taste so good standing on a street corner. When we use to go to Mexico, we would have a cold Corona while we were driven to our hotel. It just tasted so good in that
van.The drivers carried coolers filled with drinks for the tourists. Good way to put yourself in holiday mode.And there, I would order the flan before I ordered my entree .I wanted to make sure that it was still there when I finished dinner. Let's
hear it for food. It's one of my favorite things .
