Another set of firsts today. I attended a Democratic meet the candidates party at a brewery.Which was the first? Going to a brewery or a candidate meeting ? Both. There were so many people at the meeting that I had to stand in line to get
in. I saw an empty seat around a pool table, so I took it. I told the lady next to me that I didn't know anyone there and before I knew it ,she was bringing the candidates over to meet me. She said that she knew them all, and I guess she did. That was cool.
I put on my "I know what I am doing here face" ,and I held my own. To top it off, I saw a couple that I know. Yea! As long as I was out, I decided to go to a movie. Why not. I haven't done that before, go to an evening movie alone. It was easy. No one
cared that I was only me. Now I don't understand why going alone is such a big deal. I wonder what I will do next for a first. I'm taking suggestions. Just know, that I like my feet on the ground. No free falling stuff.
