ON THE BACK BURNER

I am always reluctant to talk politics and religion. I think of them as personal choices and as a private matter. That doesn't mean that I always practice what I just said. Two years ago, the day after the National election, I woke up in Jerusalem, turned on the English radio station and felt like I got a sucker punch to the stomach.I have had a stomach ache since then. For the first time in my voting career, I am going to a political campaign meeting. i am excited about this. I need to learn as much as I can. The meeting is for my information.  I don't plan on arguing with anyone, too late for that, but  I will help where I can. My kids are too old to ask me what I was doing when our political climate hit the fan, but my Grandchildren can. I will tell them  that I voted to change the climate, social action and everything that includes making our elected officials represent me.Let's see what happens.
