I am thinking of getting a dog behaviorist for Noodle. There has to be a reason that he has anxiety attacks in the car. The car seat that I have for him has helped , but we don't get all of the way home in a 25 minute ride before he panics. I
can recognize motion sickness in a dog but his is sheer panic. I am sure that it has to do with some experience in his other life. Maybe , since I know that he was hit by a car, that could be it. Or , the fact that he was a throw away dog after having a loving
childhood.( my interpretation) Whatever it is, I have another nine months to work with him. I will either drive to Washington state or fly and either way, he has to come with me. I was thinking about buying him his own coach ticket, but I wonder if the
airline would let him sit in a seat. I would put him in a seatbelt. But what if he started crying and trying to climb out of his seat? The pilot would either kick us off at the nearest airport or the rest of the passengers will say that they would rather
have a crying kid who kicks the back of their seat than my Noodle . The thought of a behaviorist came to me when I passed a place that offers dog training. Either he needs training or I do. I think he needs it more. I at least wait to get home to have a hissy
fit.
