I drove to Hilton Head Island today, a total of 385 miles. By myself. It was a breeze. What's the big deal. I had waze for a companion and it was a go. The only thing wrong with Waze is that it doesn't talk a lot. If there are no obstacles in
100 miles or anything that the driver needs to know, Waze is silent. I would like some acknowledgement , such as " you are still on the right road" ,or" better go to the next rest stop, won't be another one for awhile". The radio doesn't help much. You
have to keep changing stations as you get out of range of local stations. Now I am at the most beautiful house that I have ever been in. I feel as if I am a scene out of HGTV. Low country , raised house, straight view of the Atlantic Ocean, everything you
think you need and a lot that you don't. To top it off, we had raw oysters and shrimp and grits for dinner. I am going to bed happy. Did I say that I am in Grandma heaven, my Grandson is here with me.
