I will try and describe Port Townsend. It is part Woodstock, part San Francisco, part art colony and part of a hard core sailing community, with real fisher people, boat repair docks , all in a beautiful natural environment. There are painted
lady houses like you see in San Fransisco, people wearing hippy, dippy clothes, a box outside of a house saying" free" and stuff that you thought you couldn't live without, there for the taking. The hills intimidate me. What if your 20 year old car can't make
it up, or you get stopped at a traffic light at the top of the hill.Do you roll backwards. These are some of the things that I worry about ,here in Port Townsend. I am embarrassed to tell you this, but I got lost going to a coffee shop . I was there the day
before , and couldn't find my way there the second day. I had to call my son to come and get me. I don't think he will let me go anywhere by myself now.I really don't want to , anyhow.
