Some people have a Bible on their night stand. I have a book , titled," 20,000 words, spelled and divided for quick reference". I am thankful for spell check on my iPad. That is the best addition to my life, except for Google. For some reason,
since I have had spell check, I am becoming a better speller. As a kid, in grade school, I use to be in dread of spelling bees. When we had to stand up around the room and get chosen for a side to compete, I wanted to go home , early. I might have
been chosen first for PE events but not so when there was a spelling bee. I can still remember my grade school spelling book. It was a somber , nasty brown. It looked like doom. We had to learn to spell a list of words, alphabetically listed, and be tested
every Friday. I remember a lot of the rules. " a friend until the end. And i before e except after c. A principal is your pal, ". I have no excuse for not being a better speller. Maybe if the spelling book was a brighter color, I would have had a more
positive experience with speling, spelling. Yes spelling.
