ON THE BACK BURNER

I gave Bob some Jello. The stuff in the little containers. The ones that Mom's send with their kids for school lunches. It stained Bob's lips and tongue. For the whole day. A wash cloth did nothing to remove the color from his lips. I checked the contents. They are Kosher. That surprised me. it also contains Red color 40 and some other color of their choice. Is this healthy ? The jello comes in such cute , single serving containers that I can understand the urge to buy them. We did, for sure. I did make home made jello for Bob and there was no way that could be sent to school in a lunch bag. The commercial stuff is made to withstand hurricanes and dodge ball. Since Bob isn't on his way to school, I think I will make his jello from scratch The red on his lips is the wrong shade for him.

Are you up for any visits ? We could come after our son leaves. Love and prayers, Ginnie
