I am so anal that I put it off as long as I could. I had to have a hospital bed brought in. My living room is different, now. It has all kinds of equipment that you don't want to acknowledge. The bed,the oxygen, the other "stuff".Noodle is uncomfortable.
I told him that I was too, and I think he feels better. The EMT's were here twice today. They have a wonderful service, called, lift assist. If there is no transporting, there is no cost. They came today when Bob crumbled to the floor. Picked him up, put him
in bed, after checking vitals and for injury. Then they came again to help move him from our bed to the hospital bed, that is now in the living room. I choose this space for it, because it is sunny, he can watch the golf course and everything has to be done
in the vicinity of this room. But it stresses me to see the room all jumbled up. Coffee table next to the buffet, dining room table and chairs smushed to the side, love seat in the middle of the room. Better to be focused on these small, insignificant
things then what is real in my living room.
