Have I mentioned that I really like road trips. To that end, I am planning one--departure date unknown. And because Noodle is such a terrible car passenger, and I want him to come along, I am on a quest to make him car happy. I bought a car bed
for him. It is a rectangular bed that attaches to the console between the two front seats. It has straps and a harness and is plush and comfy looking. So far, Noodle likes it. I have it on the floor now and he gets in it and sits. I give him a treat and he
falls asleep in it. In a few days, I will put it in the car and attach it to the console, if I can figure out the directions. Then I plan to just start the motor. If that works, we may drive around the block. A few of our dogs have made long road trips
sitting on Bob's lap. We had one that sat where he looked out of the rear window. Jake wrapped himself around my neck and I drove with him like a neck brace. Jake is also the one who some how managed to walk from the back to the front of the car, hitting
the floor gear that sent the gear from drive to neutral at 70 miles an hour. This new car bed should help Noodle stay calm. And the driver. I understand that dogs can take Valium.
