My calendar is full with upcoming visiting children, grandson and niece. If anyone want to get on the waiting list, I can do that. I am already planning favorite meals. I know who likes my brisket, and who is happy with anything . Once I
tried to figure out how many meals I have prepared over a 64 year span. A lot. When you add in that Bob worked from home and ate lunch at home, the count goes pretty high. I use to use two shopping carts when I went to the grocery store. I mostly had
the groceries delivered, even though I drove to the store. That way, they were carried right into the house. For a while we belonged to a food co-op. I could get those big bricks of cheese , mostly. I can't remember what else impressed me as much as those
bricks of cheese. Back in those days, we all ate breakfast together and dinner. And the kids usually brought sandwiches from home. I don't know how we managed breakfast, but we did. I think I had that memory of my Mother never getting up to fix me breakfast,
that made me determined to see my kids off to school with a breakfast. Life was so simple then. Everyone went to bed at a certain time, no TV, no Ipads or smart phones. What happened?
