Mother served it. Or with sliced bananas and whipped cream. And pecans. I guess we were big on whipped cream and pecans. They were always there. Must be a southern thing. I wonder why more people don't make jello for dessert. Maybe they do and no one told
me. I do know that I had to buy grape, not my favorite flavor, because that is all that was on the shelf at the grocery. Maybe there was a run on Jello. I still sing the jingle every time I write out J-E -L-L-O.
