ON THE BACK BURNER

There was a book that I read,a lot, to our youngest child. This is the  exact title, " What do people do all day". It told what the fire person(politically correct for 2018) did all day, the farmer, etc. I decided to document what I do all day.

12:40 am , help Bob to the bathroom. 2:40 am, help Bob to the bathroom. 4:00 am help Bob to the bathroom. 5 to 6 ish, am, get up and  fix coffee in our super duper coffee maker. Bring Bob coffee in bed.Have a cup, too.  6 through 7 ish am, Find Noodle. Wake up Noodle. Walk Noodle. Fix Noodle his breakfast. Raw beef patty, kibbles, arthritis med, cranberry powder, goat milk , antibiotic. Give him his eye drops. Fix Bob's breakfast. He is losing weight, and he likes breakfast, so I make it slightly special. I eat, whatever. Shower Bob. Then me.

PM. routine. Go to doc appointments or library, or nothing. Maybe some book keeping or house chores. Take Noodle for a quick pee. Lunch. fIx something that Bob likes. Nap time. Another Quick pee for Noodle. ( Driveway and back, really quick ) depending on what we did in am. , we will have an adventure out for stimulation. Walk through Walmart, go to library, Myakka State   Park. 4 or 5 ish, take Noodle for a serious walk. Practice violin,  read or knit or not. Start dinner. Eat. clean kitchen. Watch TV? Take Noodle for quick pee.Get ready for bed. Oxygen for Bob. Maybe breathing treatment, with inhaler. Twice a week I have a hospice helper come for two hours so that I can go out. My rule is that I have to leave the house, even if it just to the grocery or Good Will, or Mah Jongg. Sleep between 10 and 11 pm. 12:45 am, start over. Did I leave anything out. It's good to have a schedule. You know just what to expect, except when it doesn't.
