I was participating in a fund raising event sponsored by Hadassah.It was a day of mah Jong. Our group of friends needed a fourth to complete our table. A single player,new to our area, joined us. Everything was fine until she dismissed me and
really insulted me by saying "you sit all day and write what you are doing"? I guess I never thought of my Blog like that. I really love Face Book and the fact that it opens up a community for me. Some people who read me, I know very well. Some people who
read me, I know a little. Some people who read me, I don't know well, but would like to. It is true that I do think , during the day, about what I might bring up. I find it really heartening when people respond because the same thing happened to them, or ,
they are surprised (like I have never seen Good Morning America) or they give me a boost by just being my FB friend. I guess this stranger at our table struck a cord in me when she dismissed me. I didn't then ,feel the need to validate myself to her.
Only to me, now. So there. I don't think that your daughter being Ms Whatever is all that great. What does she do all day.
