ON THE BACK BURNER

Noodle gave us another scare this weekend. He couldn't support his weight. He was limp. When he could stand up, he was limping. He slept for 30 hours in a limp position.. He ate regularly. He did what dogs do outside, but I had to carry him in and out. We had a family conference and decided that he wasn't in pain, He was eating and relieving himself, so we would not rush to the emergency vet, but wait until our Vet was in his office. After sleeping so soundly, he got up, wagged his tail, and limped out for a walk. The next day, he was a perky, for him, pet. So what happened? We think someone may have accidentally stepped on his foot at the Seder and with so many people in the house, he just was overwhelmed and exhausted by the experience. Also, he is a bit of a drama queen. We found that out when he had his surgery and passed out. And ,After all, he is a senior pet . He needs his routine. I can relate.
