On TV there was a baseball game. Not my team, but baseball. Opening day. Spring is officially here and I know what I will be doing Monday evenings, for weeks. When our kids were in Jr. High and High School ,opening day for the Cubs was ditch day. It
was also,almost without fail, the coldest, wettest day of the week. But no one cared. WGN America use to broadcast the Cubs games and I got them here in Venice. No more, and I don't understand why not. Everyone loves the Cubs. I've lived in Florida long enough
that I should cheer for a local team. I don't seem to be able to get enthusiastic about the Florida teams. There's something about being a die hard Cub fan that makes you compassionate,loyal, and part of something bigger. Go Cubs, Go, The Cubs are going to
