While the rest of the country is having tornados ,or avalanches,we are breaking heat records for February. That may account for the rush of visitors that we are having .I hadn't noticed until this week end how heavy the traffic is. And I don't understand
why. Over the last few years, we had constant road rebuilding to widen our busiest street. I guess if you build it, the cars just keep filling the space. We went to the grocery store this afternoon and they ran out of carts. It was as if we had to take a number
to get a cart. In spite of all of this activity, no one seems to be in a rush or in a bad mood. I think that living in this sunny,hospitable environment just makes us locals want to share with those travelers running from Mother Nature.
