I had a decision to make. AS I have mentioned before , I am not a devotee of ice cream. But , for some reason, I really like this one brand of gelato. I don't even know when I tried it for the first time. It would not be something that I would usually
look for in the grocery store. A small container is pretty costly,so I would not normally throw it in my shopping basket. But I must have and now I am hooked. I make a concession to the priciness by only buying it on sale. Then I ration it out, a few tablespoons
at a time. This is all building up to what we had for dessert last night. Our brother and his wife, our sister(we gave up the word in- law a long time ago) came to visit Bob . Since we are not going out to be around other people for a while, we had dinner
here at home. It came to dessert time. Do I part with my precious gelato , to share with loved ones, or, do I serve some brownies that a friend brought over and grapes. Until the last minute, I wasn't sure which way to go. I won't say, but I did take a few
spoonfuls to eat in bed after everyone went back to their hotel.
