For some reason, entertaining on a week night, or as I refer to a week night company dinner, a school night dinner, is easier then a Saturday night dinner. It seems more casual, less formal. I can serve a less pretentious meal ,like meat loaf(I
didn't) and a simple dessert(bread pudding). People leave at a reasonable time, because it is a school night, after all. And wine still flows freely. I think that I will do this more often.
