You know the song"Every one loves Saturday night"? Well, I love Friday night. I like going to Shabbat services, seeing friends, meeting new people. I like the repetition of the prayers that we say every Friday night. I also like the slice of raisin
challah that I take every Friday. That's a special treat. This week, we witnessed a conversion. I've attend conversions before, but this one seemed so special. The woman getting converted was Jewish at heart and soul before this date on the calendar. I don't
want to diminish the feeling of the other conversions that I have attended, but I think our present Rabbi made this one more "official" feeling. The Rabbi quoted Albert Einstein and I paraphrase"I am sorry that I was born Jewish because I didn't get to chose
being a Jew.". After the service tonight, I sorta feel the same way.
