The end of the year is coming up and that is always depressing. TV has all of the years reviews and that doesn't make me particularly happy. People have died, politics are crazy, weather is unusual, favorite teams lost hopes of having a winning year.
So who needs a review. I like feel good stories that are hopeful or bring tears of happiness to me. I want commercials that tug at heart strings, like the Coke commercials or the Clydesdale horses. I really want more than three minutes of good news at
the end of a news broadcast. I've lost naivety about stories that I read in the two papers that I read. I'm not sure that they are telling me the truth. I'm looking for a bright spot. Maybe just getting to another year is all I can ask for. Friends around
me. Kids well.Grandchildren blossoming. New pet, mending. Spouse still kicking. . Maybe things are pretty good.
