I got such a wonderful surprise today. We have a mail person who looks like a character in a movie. He is tall, very thin and looks intimidating, but isn't. His face is craggy and right now, I can't remember if he has hair or not. He usually just
puts our mail in the outside box and we don't have much personal contact. But he likes to bring us our packages and over the years, I stopped thinking that he only brought us our large envelopes or packages because he wants a present at Christmas. Over the
years, we"ve invited him in for a drink of water, or when Cricket died, he came calling, and we've shown him our condo when he didn't know what they looked like inside. Well , to get back to my surprise, he brought a box to me today and said "I hope it is
a good surprise". And it was/is. My box had a message in it saying that someone must really like me because they sent me this package. It was from my friend who just spent several days here with us. What a nice surprise. She sent me her favorite coffee beans
from the west coast. What a perfect gift and completely unnecessary. She's be my friend without the beans. But it is a wonderful surprise. Thank you Kathy.
