ON THE BACK BURNER

I wanted to show my California friend the best of Venice. We ran out of time. Every time I showed her a part of Venice, another activity that we could do came  to mind. We ended  the day with a beautiful sun set that we just missed at the North Jetty. None of us minded because the colors were still spectacular and the boats coming home  through the Inter Coastal were so picturesque that we just enjoyed the moment. I found that my favorite Croissant bakery was now opened on Monday and that was a plus for our day. The Banyan trees an Venice Ave are notable and photographical. Did you know that they are only found in Florida and start out as epiphites . I didn't either. Did I mention that we also went to the Rookery, because how many towns have Rookeries that showcase our native birds. I'm tired. I'm going to sleep.
