I had a great idea for my blog. Unfortunately, I didn't write myself a memo and I forgot. But i can say that we have a two legged house guest who is not a relative and that is a very nice treat. Since last January, we have had visiting relatives at
least once a month. We love that. We are ready for it. Today, our visitor of the month is not related to us. It's a friend from my past, one of the ladies that I ran with for years, back in Chicago. Our memories go way back. We've traveled together and
run together. The traveling was easier. We've spent time in N.O., Michigan, Colorado and now here. That doesn't count the week end trip That all of us took to Chicago in September. She came in from her home in California. The reason that I am so lucky to have
her here is that her sister lives in Florida and she came for a visit. And speaking of our four legged friend, Lucky, how do dogs know the one person who is not a dog lover?? My friend is tolerant of dogs, but not overly happy to have them around. Well
, Lucky loves her. He fell asleep with his head on her lap. Being a good sport, she just sat there. Lucky is one lucky dog.
